Zambia, a restricted country in Africa. It is located on a high plateau in south-central Africa and its name derives from the Zambezi River, which empties everything except a small part of the north of the country.

Large parts of the country are sparsely populated. Most people focus on the most developed area of the country – known as the Line of Rail – which operates the rail linking the Copperbelt with Lusaka, the capital and the city on the Livingstone border.

Zambia has a long line of land to the west of Angola but is separated by its neighbors to the south by the Zambezi River. To the southwest is a small target of the Namibian region known as the Caprivi Strip, to the east where Zambia and its three neighbors (Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe) appear to meet somewhere – a “quadripoint” – until the right kind of meeting is opposed. The man-made Lake Kariba is now part of the river’s border with Zimbabwe. Other Zambian neighbors include Mozambique in the southeast, Malawi in the east, and Tanzania in the north. The long border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo extends from Lake Tanganyika, across Lake Mweru, and then from the Luapula River to the Pedicle, the Congolese border crossing to Zambia to provide the country with a unique butterfly. To the west from the Pedicle, the border follows the Zambezi-Congo River to the Angolan border.

Zambia still faces economic transformation issues such as the size of the public sector and the improvement of the delivery systems of Zambia. Economic regulations and red tape are widespread, and fraud is widespread. Independent organization processes around the licensing process encourage the widespread use of subsidies.
